La cuisine, cœur battant de la maison, mérite une lumière à la hauteur de sa vitalité.

Dans une cuisine, l’éclairage ne se limite pas à la simple fonctionnalité : il structure l’espace, valorise les matériaux et accompagne chaque geste du quotidien. Quels types de luminaires pour la cuisine ?

Plafonniers : Compacts et efficaces, les plafonniers de cuisine offrent un éclairage général sans encombrer l’espace. Un modèle de 30 à 40 cm de diamètre, équipé d’une LED de 18 à 24 W (1800 à 2400 lumens), suffit pour une pièce de taille moyenne. Les versions en métal brossé ou en verre dépoli résistent mieux aux projections de graisse et se nettoient facilement. Pour une touche contemporaine, les plafonniers cuisine privilégient les formes plates ou géométriques, souvent dotées d’un diffuseur anti-éblouissement.

Suspensions : Les suspensions de cuisine structurent l’espace au-dessus d’un îlot ou d’une table. Un modèle linéaire de 80 à 120 cm, équipé de 3 à 5 ampoules LED de 6 à 8 W chacune, éclaire efficacement sans créer d’ombre portée. Les matériaux comme le verre, le métal ou le béton s’intègrent dans tous les styles, du plus industriel au plus épuré. Les suspensions cuisine se déclinent en versions réglables en hauteur, permettant d’adapter la lumière à la configuration de la pièce.

Spots : Les spots de cuisine, fixes ou orientables, sont parfaits pour cibler les zones de préparation. Ambiance repas : Au-dessus de la table, une suspension équipée d’ampoules LED dimmables de 6 à 8 W chacune permet de moduler l’intensité selon le moment. Un blanc chaud (2700 à 3000 K) crée une atmosphère conviviale. Les lustres cuisine apportent une note décorative tout en assurant un éclairage suffisant pour les dîners en famille.

Conseils d’entretien et d’accords décoratifs

Entretien : Dans la cuisine, la poussière et les projections de graisse s’accumulent rapidement sur les luminaires. Privilégier des modèles aux surfaces lisses, sans reliefs complexes, facilite le nettoyage. Un chiffon microfibre légèrement humide suffit pour le verre ou le métal.
