Evoking the sophistication of contemporary dining, this flat ceramic plate with an irregular shell shape brings an instantly noticeable artistic touch to your table. Its deep blue, inspired by a “cat’s eye” effect, captures the light and highlights the dish’s unique texture, creating a striking presentation without being over the top. Both functional and decorative, this piece appeals to individuals looking for beautiful tableware as well as professionals who want to showcase their culinary creations in restaurants, hotels, or at special events.
An irregular silhouette that elevates your presentation
The deliberately organic shell shape breaks away from classic lines and adds rhythm to your table. This presentation plate is perfectly suited to dishes where every detail matters: steak and sides, fish, sushi, tapas, artistic desserts, or creatively displayed appetisers.
Its design works equally well outside of meal times: displayed on a buffet, console, or shelf, it becomes a complete decorative piece, ideal for modern, contemporary, Nordic, or even wabi-sabi settings where beauty lies in imperfection.
A sophisticated blue for a modern and elegant table
The intense, varied blue shade enhances your food and creates a chic contrast with natural materials like linen, light wood, or stone. Paired with matte black or brushed stainless steel cutlery, this Japanese ceramic plate highlights a contemporary table; with clear glassware and an off-white tablecloth, it fits seamlessly into a refined Scandinavian atmosphere.
It is ideal for setting a beautiful table in the dining room or kitchen, but is equally at home on a serving trolley, in an office (for a stylish client welcome), or in a reception area.
For individuals and professionals: an aesthetic and versatile choice
Sold individually, this plate allows you to create a personalised tablescape, whether used as an accent piece or as part of a full set. For professionals, it offers an elegant presentation platform, enhancing a dish’s visual identity and contributing to a premium dining experience.
