An original chandelier is more than just a light fitting: it sets the style, guides movement and shapes the mood depending on the chosen colour temperature (from 2700K for a warm glow to 4000K for a more neutral brightness).

Which materials are best for an original chandelier?

Metal chandeliers: Steel, brass or aluminium models display clean lines and a variety of finishes (brushed, gold, matt black). An original metal chandelier may feature articulated arms, geometric forms or laser-cut details. For a striking look, choose a 60 to 90 cm diameter in a 20 to 30 m² dining room. Maintenance is simply regular dusting with a microfibre cloth.

Glass chandeliers: Blown, opal or coloured glass offers unique plays of transparency and reflections. How to choose an original chandelier for each room
