Choose one that offers an even, shadow-free glow, while making a stylish decorative statement. Compact chandeliers (30-40 cm in diameter) work perfectly for rooms under 12 m², while larger models (50-70 cm) suit master bedrooms or suites. Ceiling height matters: a bedroom chandelier should provide at least 210 cm of clearance, which often means a total height (including suspension) of less than 40 cm in most rooms. For the main lighting, aim for 1000 to 2000 lumens, usually delivered by 2 or 3 LED bulbs of 7 to 10W each, in a warm white (2700 to 3000K) to maintain a restful atmosphere.

The best materials for bedroom chandeliers
